Kia ora
Here are some of the documents you will need to have on hand.
Some points from Bryce re ERO
1. We are firmly in the engagement phase of “presence, engagement, achievement” and how much of our activity at this point in time is securing student engagement to promote, influence and progress student achievement.
2. We are engaging with our colleagues from ERO in professional discussions about teaching & learning. They want to listen and they want us to answer their specific questions in full. We make every attempt to be available and accessible, which means we may adjust some of our timing during the day. They will have a schedule of all meetings and are welcome to attend.
3. If everyone had to re-read one document, it would be the Maori Learners Success Framework ( I have spoken to Sonya – the version on the Intranet is the one ).
4. Team leaders have four activities that they can focus on before the review, to make sure that these are up to date, the information is relevant, and it is accessible. They are :
· Your team action plan ( and how it supports the regional goals, the Learning Delivery Wahanga Plan, the school’s strategic plan etc ).
· The groups of students you are tracking and monitoring ( and why those students are chosen … to support your team action plan, to support the whole school goals around literacy & numeracy, to support the MLSF, etc )
· Tests, diagnostics and assessments ( and how you monitor what goes out, and what comes back, how you track credits gained from targeted students etc )
· Camps and Events ( reports, photos, feedback from students & supervisors, attendance data, achievement data, innovation fund bids etc )
